Grokipedia, the AI-powered knowledge repository developed by SpaceXAI, has rolled out a v0.3 update featuring a visual overhaul. The project, which functions as an algorithmic competitor to Wikipedia, introduced a redesigned logo and updated homepage elements to replace its previously sparse interface.

Design Changes and Functional Layouts

Benji Taylor, the head of design at SpaceXAI, described the update as a newly refreshed platform. The revamped homepage now hosts featured articles, a tracking module for real-time edits, and a most-read list presented through a digital book metaphor. The platform also refined its internal article pages by tightening line spacing and adjusting the formatting of data-rich tables.

The Scale Report understands that these UI improvements indicate a change in operational status for the tool. Grokipedia debuted in October 2025 using AI-synthesized content but fell into a period of stagnation earlier this year. A report published by Lawfare in August noted that the site had not seen an entry update in over three months.

This shift suggests that Elon Musk and his team are once again prioritizing the project. While the site has resumed publishing edits and design changes, the company has not provided public comment regarding its long-term roadmap or the reasoning behind the recent hiatus and subsequent return.
