TechCrunch has unveiled the speaker roster for its AI Stage at Disrupt 2026, setting up a program heavily weighted toward the practical friction points of enterprise AI integration. Scheduled for October 13 to 15 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the event will gather operators and investors from companies including Anthropic, OpenAI, Databricks, and AWS.

A primary focus of the programming centers on post-deployment operational reality rather than initial experimentation. Cat de Jong, head of applied AI at Anthropic, is scheduled to lead a session detailing the structural differences between enterprises extracting tangible value from Claude deployments and those remaining trapped in protracted pilot phases.

Security concerns around autonomous systems form another central pillar. Panels featuring Databricks co-founder and senior vice president of field engineering Arsalan Tavakoli alongside AWS security services vice president Chet Kapoor, Luta Security's Katie Moussouris, and 1Password's Wendy Nather will examine why traditional perimeter defenses fail to protect agentic AI. The discussions plan to address why application-level permissions are insufficient when autonomous software executes sensitive corporate tasks.

The economics of software in an era of model commoditization will also be scrutinized. A dedicated panel comprising Glean chief executive Arvind Jain, Monte Carlo chief executive Barr Moses, Sapphire Ventures partner Cathy Gao, and NEA partner Aaron Jacobson will evaluate the viability of traditional SaaS metrics and emerging pricing playbooks.

Frontier visual compute will be addressed by Decart chief executive Dean Leitersdorf and Luma AI chief executive Amit Jain, who are slated to discuss the evolution of generative visual systems toward real-time inference and physical reasoning. Additional sessions will examine the emerging discipline of AI-native go-to-market engineering.

The stage programming reflects a broader maturation across the tech sector. As baseline model performance becomes increasingly accessible across leading providers, the primary challenges for enterprises have shifted from raw foundation model evaluation to infrastructure governance, security architecture, and defensible unit economics.
